I'm still here
Hello...
I was surprised that it's been so long since I wrote in here. I would remember about it, and realize that I should write, but then I would get distracted and forget about it. They say the memory is first to go, so I suppose that is happening to me.
King and Bennie the crow are both doing well. It's funny how King can be laying on the ground in the back yard and Bennie will stand on his head. Usually King will just accept that Bennie is there, but since he still is a puppy at heart, sometimes he will try to catch Bennie.
He actually caught him once, but I sort of think that Bennie must have LET himself be caught. When King had Bennie in his mouth, he had this really surprised look on his face! I just had to laugh, it was like he was saying, Oh, now what do I do with a mouthful of feathers??
Bennie continues his crow antics, and he has amassed a huge pile of junk. Coins he finds on the sidewalk, anything any children leave laying around are fair game for him. If you've lost a key in my neighborhood, you can bet that Bennie has it.
My neighbor is fine. We are still spending a lot of time together, just talking and crocheting. I don't work real fast, so my afghan isn't very big. I more hold on to it, just to give my hands something to do. My fingers get tired after a while.
Soon it will be warm enough to spend more time outside. Some days are oh so warm in the sun, but as soon as the sun disappears under a cloud, it gets chilly. I am looking forward to sitting in the shade and still being warm! King is getting antsy, wanting to spend more and more time out in the fresh air.
Maybe this is why I haven't written here. It seems I really don't have that much to say. I will try to be more faithful in writing. Until then....
